This tour is a unique opportunity to see the highlights of Peru, Argentina and Brazil, visiting iconic places like the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, Iguazu Falls and the amazing cities of Lima, Cusco, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. Enjoy the culture, scenery, wildlife, natural beauty and iconic highlights of these amazing countries. This enthralling 16-day tour offers superior hotels, all transfers, touring and most meals and excursions.

Itinerary

Day 1: Lima

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, in Lima, with the remainder of the
day at leisure.

Day 2: Lima

This morning explore Lima, starting in Lima’s historic downtown district. The tour concludes in the modern area of Miraflores offering spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L)

Day 3: Lima – Sacred Valley

After breakfast you will fly to Cusco, (own expense) where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. En route you will visit Chinchero and a local weaving community. Two nights at your HOTEL. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Sacred Valley

Today you will be taken on a tour of the Pisac Market, then continue to Ollantaytambo. Visit the Inca fortress, one of the most impressive architectural complexes of the Incan Empire. (B, L)

Day 5: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu

This morning you will embark on a train journey to Aguas Calientes. On arrival, you will be met by a local guide who will join you on a bus trip to the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the ruins, with free time to explore on your own. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L, D)

Day 6: Machu Picchu – Cusco

This morning is at leisure, before you board the afternoon train from Aguas Calientes to Cusco. Two nights at your HOTEL in Cusco. (B)

Day 7: Cusco

After breakfast, you will be taken on a city tour of Cusco visiting both Inca and Colonial landmarks including Qoricancha. Continue to the archaeological park of the fortress temple, Sacsayhuaman. Tonight, experience a night tour of Cusco and finish at a well-known bar to learn how to make the traditional Pisco Sour drink. (B)

Day 8: Cusco – Lima

Today you will fly to Lima (additional cost). In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the Rafael Larco Herrera Museum. Two nights at your HOTEL in Lima. (B, D)

Day 9: Lima – Buenos Aires

Today you will fly to Buenos Aires (additional cost). On arrival, you will be transferred to your Buenos Aires HOTEL for your three-night stay. (B, D)

Day 10: Buenos Aires

Today, you will be taken on a city tour, starting with a drive along 9 de Julio Avenue, through San Telmo, and La Boca before concluding with a visit to the Recoleta cemetery. In the evening, you will be taken for dinner and a tango show. (B, D)

Day 11: Buenos Aires

Today is at leisure for you to explore Buenos Aires. (B)

Day 12: Buenos Aires – Iguazu

Today you will board your flight to Iguazu Falls (own expense) where on arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your two-night stay. (B)

Day 13: Iguazu Falls

This morning, enjoy a tour of Iguazu Falls. At the visitor centre, you will board a train to the upper falls circuit which offers the most impressive observation point. Explore pathways along the Iguazu River Canyon via the lower and upper circuit best known for its flora and fauna. (B, L)

Day 14: Iguazu Falls – Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, you will be taken to the Brazilian side of Iguazu National Park, where you will enjoy a walking tour of the Iguazu Falls. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro (additional cost). You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 15 -16: Rio de Janeiro

Today you will be taken on a full day tour of the city. Enjoy the downtown area before a visit to Sugar Loaf Mountain where a cable car ride to the top offers views of Guanabara Bay and surrounds. In the evening enjoy a typical Brazilian barbecue at a local restaurant, followed by a samba extravaganza. (B, L, D)

Day 17: Rio de Janeiro

Today you will be transferred to Rio de Janeiro airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your tour. (B)
