DAY 1: ANTANANARIVO
On arrival at Antananarivo, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at HOTEL GREGOIRE or similar.
DAY 2: PERINET NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be taken to Perinet National Park, viewing the local wildlife and birds en-route. Two nights at FEON NY ALA or similar. (B)
DAY 3: ANDASIBE RESERVE
Today you will visit Andasibe Reserve in search of the Indri – a rare species of lemur, then continue to Betsimisaraka village, before returning to your lodge. (B)
DAY 4: ANTANANARIVO
Today you will drive back to Antananarivo and will explore the capital city. Overnight at HOTEL GREGOIRE or similar. (B, D)
DAY 5: ANTSIRABE
Today you will travel south by road to Antsirabe. Overnight at HOTEL DES THERMES or similar. (B)
DAY 6: RANOMAFANA
This morning you will be taken on a short tour of Antsirabe, and continue to Ambositra, to see Malagasy carvings at the centre of Madagascar’s wood carving industry. Continue to Ranomafana National Park. Two nights at CENTREST SEJOUR or similar. (B)
DAY 7: RANOMAFANA
Enjoy a forest walk to see exotic orchids, waterfalls, hot springs and various lemur species. (B)
DAY 8: AMBALAVAO
Transfer to Ambalavao stopping at the paper manufacturing centre en-route. In the afternoon, you will visit the lemur park at Anja. Two nights at HOTEL TSIENIMPARIHY LODGE or similar (B, L, D)
DAY 9: AMBALAVAO
Today you will hike the Chameleon track in the Tsaranoro Valley (3-5 hours). Afterwards, return to your hotel. (B, L, D)
DAYS 10 – 11: ISALO NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, travel to Isalo National Park where you will have a full day to explore this unusual park including a walk from the natural swimming pool to the waterfall of Namazaha. Two nights at HOTEL H1 or similar. (B, D)
DAYS 12 – 13: IFATY
Travel south through the “spiny desert” to see the spectacular Mahafaly tombs, before continuing to Ifaty. Two nights at IFATY BEACH CLUB or BELLA DONNA. (B, D)
DAY 14: ANTANANARIVO
Transfer to Tulear for your flight to Antananarivo, where on arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Two nights at HOTEL GREGOIRE or similar. (B, D)
DAY 15: ANTANANARIVO
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport, where your tour will conclude. (B)
